This is to inform the public that the University of Groningen is providing research grants to students from developing countries who desire to undertake their own master’s programme at Holland.

This initiative won’t only enhance the collaboration between the University of Groningen and universities in developing countries but may also improve the amount of instructional expertise in these types of nations.

The University was established in 1614. Ever since that time its development and growth have revealed shifting perspectives and societal advancements.

Scholarship Worth

The award covers tuition cost, costs of global travel, subsistence, books, and medical insurance.

Note: A substantial quantity of students make an application to this scholarship annually, whereas the University can issue just a small variety of grants.

Entry Requirements: Applicants interested in  Groningen University Scholarship must:

  • Have got conditional admission to this application of preference (view:
    • have exemplary academic efficiency, rather be supported with letters of recommendation
  • have exemplary grades throughout their bachelor/undergraduate studies;
  • have outstanding English language proficiency, in accordance with the entrance requirements of this application of preference
  • Be Available for the entire length of the programme and also then get involved in the full programme
  • Be healthy bodily, so that medical health insurance from Holland could be ordered

  • Have no additional way of funding the study in question

English Language Requirements: Candidates whose first language isn’t English usually are required to give evidence of competence in English at the high degree demanded at the University.
